Slow Flowers Podcast

This summer I have had the wonderful opportunity of working with Debra Prinzing, author of several books including The 50 Mile Bouquet: Seasonal, Local and Sustainable Flowers and Slow Flowers: Four Seasons of Locally Grown Bouquets from the Garden, Meadow and Farm. We collaborated to create a short video piece about Floral Color Theory (I’ll post that soon) and I’ve been helping her produce the Slow Flowers Podcast, available now on iTunes.

To learn more about the lovely Debra, her writing, and her work towards a more sustainable world of flowers, check out her website at

Harmony, Hope & Healing

I am currently interning at Harmony, Hope & Healing where I am acting as their media specialist. This entails taking photos, designing their annual Christmas appeal, creating a music video (stay tuned!), and giving their website a new look. Check it out here.

Sixth Floor Memoir

In the spring of 2011, I took a class on writing spiritual memoir. Feel free to see my written and visual reflections here.

I love my life because…

During my senior year in high school, I kept a “I love my life” journal as a way to support myself emotionally when I moved away from my family. The year after I graduated, I shared pieces of this journal on Blogspot and invited others to submit their own reasons, creating an online community art project that was full of reasons why people love life.

Hannah in Costa Rica

While living in Costa Rica for a year between high school and college, I kept an extensive blog that let me process my experience while relaying it back to the people I love all around the world.
